Pot Farm shut down Dec 11, 2019 at 4pm PST.

Due partly to the upcoming change away from flash and the fact that the game was no longer profitable, the developers sadly decided to end the game. Cash purchases were turned off November 13 and the game was shut down on December 11, 2019. See also their video announcement of shutdown and announcement on their Facebook page. This entire chain of quests runs from Dec 19-23.
These were expected to run for 2 days only, but they've been extended through Sunday, Dec 23.
These quests are available to players level 20+... BUT most of the quests require contraptions that might not be available to all players. If players are lucky they may have picked some up previously in mystery boxes. Your level and what you've scored in the past will determine how many of these you can do.
NOTE: Apotcalypse seeds grow 20 Grim Reefer plants. 3x Apotcalypse seeds grow 60 Grim Reefer. These Apotcalypse seeds both take 6 hours to grow. Both are in the store for 2 days only! (Grim Reefer is a 12 hour seed.)

SIDE NOTE: Winter Breweries changed. Now use 1 candy cane and SIX hemp ale and give SIX winter ale instead of one!

"SASQUATCH PUZZLE" Quests: /exquests2012#northwest_sasquatch

AVAILABLE FROM Sept 14 - 24, 2012. (On 9/18/12, they were extended to run through Monday, 9/24/12.

Get the new Torched Ranger Station (now also available in the store) from one of the new quests, is a 9x BC Bud repeater. When you collect from it, you can share a puzzle piece with your neighbors. Sasquatch is a mystery seed repeater on just 2 spaces (0 protection). Click the link for details.

PUZZLE PIECE NOTES: Find the 3 puzzle pieces for each of the 3 PUZZLES (a1-3, b1-3, and c1-3)! (From the devs: Visit your neighbours, send Mystery Gifts, Look out for In-Game Pop-UPs, and keep checking the Fan Page for pieces and updates!)

In your gift box, there's a new SPECIAL tab. Click that and use 1 of each puzzle piece to complete your 3 puzzles (you can sell your extras for 1000 coins each). See your progress by clicking the new puzzle icon in the lower left corner of the game. Then click Puzzle A, Puzzle B, or Puzzle C for progress on each one. Completing a puzzle will give you quest credit (see below) and a 100x Wookee Weed seed.

9/17: BIG NEWS: C1 and C3 started as the rarest of the puzzle pieces. They were only available as gifts from the developers. On 9/17, I just got both C1 and C3 pieces from mystery gifts! That means ALL gifts are now available from mystery gifts. You can also get at least some from visiting neighbors and newsfeed shares.

TIP: Notice the requirements for all of the B quests are similar and the same for all the C quests. Don't harvest blueberry until you have all 3 B quests open. Don't harvest wookee until you have all C quests open. Get your stuff ready to harvest and then, when you get the appropriate puzzle pieces, etc, you'll be ready to go!

UPDATE: There is a 100x Blueberry seed in the store to help you complete these quests. It was set to expire before the quests, but they extended it to coincide with the end date of the quests (9/24). BC BUD and WOOKEE WEED have also been extended.

UPDATE: Sasquatch now shares Wookee Weed 4X instead of Bones.

Super Oil Press Quests: /exquests2012.php#superpress

These 5 quests came out September 7, 2012 and are only good through Sept 14th.
BIG NEWS: The devs said 9/14 was the last day to complete Super Oil Press Quests for a Puff Pass repeater ("recycled muscle"). However, Some players report still being able to access the quests. If you still have the quests, DO 'EM! No word yet on if you can still get the prizes.
These unlock to players level 90 and up.
WARNING: Players reported not getting the prize for the last quest, but it appears fixed now.

The TEASER QUESTS shown below run only from August 10-17, 2012.
(These ARE NOT set to run the entire length of the Northwest Theme.)
These are just some "teaser quests" to entertain us while they work on more stuff for the new Northwest Theme.
There are 10 new quests for players 15 and up. The devs did something very different with this set of quests. Depending on your level, the quest requirements and payouts are different! It can get confusing though as THE NAMES of the quests are THE SAME! It's broken up as follows:

ALERT: There were some issues for players level 111-148 and 250+ that have just been fixed with 2 days left. See quest #7 in those level ranges for more details.

WARNING: If you level up to a different level range, you will be put back at the first quest of the chain with the new requirements. I think it's a great opportunity for more stuff, but others may feel differently.

Tip: when a quest calls for moving something a number of times, you only need one of the item. Then move it the required number of times.

"BRAIN CHAIN": exquests2012#psychbrain 3 quest chain added July 24, 2012 for players level 35 and up. They require buying 2 styles of new brains in the store. Completing this chain will cost you 1,782,200 coins and $14 pot bucks. (Remember, you get coins back each time you sell something.) In addition to the 25,200 xp you'll earn buying the necessary items, you'll get a Large Voodoo Pot Head Crowd (that normally costs $72 pot bucks when available). It generates 12 pot heads and 10xp every 10 minutes. WARNING: All 3 of these quests require that you sell the required items FROM YOUR FARM, NOT your gift box.

"PUFFLES" CHAIN: Started May 9. When you buy a puffle in the store, you're buying a MYSTERY puffle. When you go to place it on your farm, you find out what color it is. (If it's not the color you need, don't place it on the farm!) When you get a puffle, then harvest it, you get another puffle and a puffle pile. Puffles earned from other puffles or puffle piles from gifts cannot be used in quests saying "BUY puffles". Read all about puffles. URGENT UPDATE: The first 2 quests in the "Puffles" chain required you to Buy Puffles. However, Puffles are no longer available in the store. Support tells me that a fix has just been rolled out for this and that the new requirements are to MOVE the particular puffle piles. Find them from newsfeed share posts. Good luck!

Easter Quests: exquests2012#easter2012

15 new quests added on 3/23 to earn Choco Chunk. The first one of each of these three lists open at the same time! Each is it's own chain of 5 quests. Notice the first ones are PLANT, the second in the chains are HARVEST, the third are SELL, so only one crop is needed to finish the first 3 of each.

Then, the 4th of each of these is to harvest White Rabbit. If you do 1-3 of each so #4 of each is open at the same time, when you harvest the white rabbit, it will count towards all of them! Complete #4 for each chain. THEN, #5 of each is to sell White Rabbit. Do all of those together. This way, you won't have to repeat yourself!

These really are easier than people thought. If you do them in the proper order, it only requires planting, harvesting, and selling 420 each Northern Lights, Maui Waui and Caramelicious. Harvesting 200 White Rabbit, and Selling 400 White Rabbit. Doing them gets you a total of 645 chocolate chunk.

QUEST for an XMAS SNOWMAN SCENE released 12/21/11

Harvest 200 Christmas Kush and Use 500 Pot Heads from your Gifts and receive an Xmas Snowman Scene. This new quest becomes available after completing the first two of the christmas kush quests below. You can also buy it for 11 pot bucks. It is 2x2 and offers 0 protection to start with. However, once you build it (like you do a hydro unit with gift items), it offers 400 protection (and looks pretty festive).

That's what the snow, carrots, clothes, and twigs & coal you're seeing as gifts are for. You'll need one of each, except for the carrots, which you'll need two of. Then, you'll need to 'hire' 3 friends to help out (or pay to do it). (For those creative players thinking everything does something, this provides 400 protection and looks cool. It is not a repeater. It does NOT produce anything. You cannot grow anything "in" it. And you can't make money selling it.)

"Final Kush" quest appears to unlock after completing the last of the pot head conspiracy quests. It takes a lot of pot heads, but gives you 800 Alien Kush towards your Alien Kush quests. (40 Alien Grey at 20x each = 800). Plus, they grow in 16 hours instead of 32!

420 Rally "Rally Grrrl" Quests

Released on April 4, 2011 and more added April 12. Do the first 2 simple 420 Rally Quests to get a Rally Grrl on your farm. From there, you'll open up a new quest each time you finish one as listed below. Rally Grrl takes up 4 spaces on your farm and has a banner showing how big your rally is (how many Pot Heads you've used from your gift box). (Pot Heads don't take up space on your farm). These quests get you more Pot Heads. To see what you get for accumulating pot heads, scroll down to 420 Rally "Prize" Quests.

Plant a plant to get Rally Grrrl in Gift Box.
Reward: 1 Rally Grrrl
Hint: Plant any plant to get your Rally Grrrl in your Gift Box.
Guru Says: If it's not working for you, try refreshing/reloading the game.

2) Place Rally Grrl
Use 1 Rally Grrrl from your Gifts
Reward: 5 Pot Heads
Hint: Go to your gifts and place the Rally Grrrl on your farm.
Guru Says: Whoa, another easy one! Rally Grrrl takes up 4 spaces but gives 4 pot heads, available for collection after 15 minutes.

Reward: 5 Pot Heads
Hint: You need a van for munchie runs and some more room.

4) Pot Head Bait

Reward: 6 Pot Heads
Hint: Pot Heads love blackberrry so get some in the ground, man!
Guru Says: Planting blackberry is all that's required. You don't have to wait to harvest.

5) More Bait
Harvest 50 Easy Rider
Reward: 7 Pot Heads
Hint: Easy Rider is an easy way to attract some pot heads.
Guru Says: Unlike the previous quest, these need to be harvested to complete the quest (not just planted). If you have 2x easy rider seeds, you only need to plant and harvest 25 spaces.

6) Rally Oil
Collect from an oil press 100 times
Reward: 7 Pot Heads
Hint: Put Hemp into your oil press to get hemp oil. You're going to need some supplies for the rally so sell some oil.
Guru Says: This specifically says to collect from an oil press. It looks like Hemp Oil received as a gift does NOT count toward this quest.

7) All Aboard

Buy 5 Clean Tents
Reward: 7 Pot Heads
Hint: Tents and busses are a great place for your pot heads to crash. Buy a bus and some tents so people can crash if they need to.

8) Rally Lamp

Reward: 7 Pot Heads
Hint: You can buy decorations in the store. Get your farm looking nice for the 420 rally.

9) Pot Bus
Plant 50 Northern Lights
Buy 1 Hippie Bus

Hint: You can buy a bus in the store. Get a bus for your 420 rally and plant some pot for your guests.

10) Feeding the Rally
Collect from an Oil Press 50 Times

Hint: Corn on the cob is a great sorce of fiber and carbs, man! Harvest some corn and hemp oil. You will need them to make some PotCorn.
Guru Says: Save this stuff. You'll need it for an upcoming quest.

11) Pretty Up Your Farm

Hint: You can take things in and out of a storage shed. Get your farm ready for the rally by putting some stuff away and making it look nice.

Hint: Caramel Cornifier requires caramelicious, sugar cane, and potcorn to make caramel corn. Feed the pot heads some sugar, man!

27) Poison Company

Reward: 20 Pot Heads
Hint: The master kind of bait for pot heads is well known to be caramelicious. Sending mystery gifts to your friends will make you more popular. Durban Poison is awesome.

Pot Head Tip: If you have 410/420 pot heads toward finishing a quest, only cash in exactly as many you need to complete the quest (in this example 10). If you have 100 in your gift box and use all 100, the extra 90 will NOT count towards the next quest!
