Due partly to the upcoming change away from flash and the fact that the game was no longer profitable, the developers sadly decided to end the game. Cash purchases were turned off November 13 and the game was shut down on December 11, 2019. See also their video announcement of shutdown and announcement on their Facebook page. Giant Purple Arrow for April Fools Day:
With the purple arrows indicating that a repeater is ready, it's long been joked about that the devs should make a purple arrow repeater. And after over 2 years, they finally showed up on April Fools Day! See info about the April Fools rally event (which lasted only 4 hours). NOTE: If you missed out on getting the Giant Purple Arrow, click here to GET ONE FREE. (HURRY! The link probably won't last long.)
The devs had fun posting clues like the pictures below, asking "What could it mean?" We were discussing below and on this post.

Pot Farm's video broadcast on Twitch TV on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 discussed this theme. I'll be posting info from that soon. And as soon as the broadcast is archived, I'll post a link to it here as well.
They talked about the new strain called Egg Plants. These are variable output seeds that grow a number of different Easter themed eggs. The different eggs, the rarest being the Golden Egg, will be needed for quests. More details will be posted soon. We think you're going to have baskets of fun in the theme's first quests, which involve searching for eggs in a bonafide hunt around the farm! Specifically, each chain will require you to plant Egg Plants in search of one four varieties of seasonal products: Century Eggs, "Green Eggs and Ham" Eggs, Devilled Eggs, and the most coveted Easter treat of all, Golden Eggs! Plant like a pro, farmer, as you'll definitely want to get your hands on each of the four types of eggs in order to snag the best prizes possible.
And when we say "best prizes," we mean it! This time around, we've gone all out with some amazing repeaters, including the Weedergizer Bunny (a Guano repeater), a Pink Darko Bunny (a Puff Puff repeater), and a Bunny in Chocolate Carbonite -- an amazing Mystery Seed repeater! How Egg-citing! Last, but definitely not least, finding enough Golden Eggs will reward you with the terrifying, pulsating Alien Queen Bunny: a mystery egg repeater that pops out mystery eggs from Pot Farm's past terrific themes!
CLARIFICATION: The new Alien Queen Bunny generates the Alien Bunny Egg, a brand NEW type of egg. Upon building with 5 alien probes, 5 enerchron cubes, 5 ectoplasm and 5 helpers, it becomes one of 40 different birds/chicks/penguins/toucans from previous eggs. It does not technically produce "mystery eggs from Pot Farm's past terrific themes!" as the VIP email suggested. A complete list of possible birds/chicks/penguins/toucans available from these new eggs will be posted on my new EGGS PAGE once the theme begins.
