Halloween 2013 consisted of two mini-themes. The first was "MONSTERS!" The second was "DARK CARNIVAL". These mini themes did not run at the same time, though they did overlap for some time near the end of the first one. The MONSTERS mini theme ran from Oct 10-31, 2013. The DARK CARNIVAL mini theme ran from Oct 23 - Nov 12, 2013.

"MONSTERS" (Halloween 2013 Mini Theme)

The new theme weed is BUDZILLA. We'll also be using Mutant X from a previous theme along with some others. See the QUEST PAGE for all the requirements.

Budzilla share posts are reportedly being fixed tomorrow (Friday). It's supposed to be the usual setup 20x shares 9x. 9x shares 4x, etc.

Radioactive Tomatoes only come from Mystery Seeds. They are reportedly not available from Surprise or other seeds.

NEW PRODUCT: DAMAGE!

There's a new product called "Damage". DAMAGE is used to upgrade (destroy) a few different items such as the Dick's New Chopper, New Ranger Station, and Dick's New House. These are all protection items when upgraded, but the upgrades are quest requirements.

You get Damage from 3 different color Fireballs from the monster Ganjira - they are his bad breath. They all give out varying amounts of Damage. You get Ganjira after commpleting the 3rd quest "What's his name?" in the Monsters Prize Quest Chain. (Use the fireballs from your giftbox and it will tell you how many damage you get.) Red Fireballs don't give much damage. Yellow Fireballs are decent. Blue Fireballs are AWESOME. (They all payout only damage.)

GANJIRA: Fireball (Damage) Contraption:

Ganjira is a multi-level contraption that runs on Radiation. You can upgrade him with Radiation. It costs 25 radiation to upgrade to Level 2. It costs 50 more radiation to upgrade to level 3. The higher the level of Ganjira, the faster it runs.

• Level 1 Ganjira gives mostly Red Fireballs (least damage).
• Level 2 Ganjira gives mostly Yellow Fireballs (more damage).
• Level 3 Ganjira gives mostly Blue Fireballs (MOST damage).

TIP: If you're having trouble upgrading him, try zooming in. Make sure the upgrade button changes color before clicking. Otherwise, you'll run the contraption when you click.

RADIATION comes from harvesting Radioactive Tomatoes (the mean, green ones). Radioactive Tomatoes are grown ONLY from Mystery Seeds. Radiation is also produced by the Gamja Ray Gun repeater, but that's very slow.

GREMLINS: Added October 16.

New quests added to earn Ganjmo, a Gremlin Egg Contraption. Feed (upgrade) an egg with 2 PIZZA from your stash and it will turn into 1 of 3 different Gremlins: Skinny, Fat, or Spiky. They are all 3-level budzilla repeaters.

GREMLIN EGG: Upgrade with 2 PIZZA to see which of the following you got:

• SKINNY EVOLVING GREMLIN:
• Level 15: Upgrade with 3 Pizza to get: Gremlin Skinny (Lvl 1): Budzilla 1x and 5xp every 24 hours (-80 protection)
• Level 25: Upgrade with 2 Candy Hearts to get: Gremlin Skinny Lvl 2: Budzilla 1x and 10xp every 12 hours (-120 protection)
• Level 45: Upgrade with 3 Mac n Cheese to get: Gremlin Skinny Lvl 3: Budzilla 1x and 15xp every 6 hours (-160 protection)

• FAT EVOLVING GREMLIN:
• Level 15: Upgrade with 3 Pizza to get: Fat Gremlin (Lvl 1): Budzilla 4x and 10xp every 24 hours (-80 protection)
• Level 25: Upgrade with 3 Ripple Chips to get: Fat Gremlin Lvl 2: Budzilla 4x and 15xp every 12 hours (-120 protection)
• Level 45: Upgrade with 4 Cheezos to get: Fat Gremlin Lvl 3: Budzilla 4x and 25xp every 6 hours (-160 protection)

• SPIKY EVOLVING GREMLIN:
• Level 15: Upgrade with 3 Pizza to get: Spiky Gremlin (Lvl 1): Budzilla 4x and 15xp every 12 hours (-80 protection)
• Level 25: Upgrade with 5 Cookies to get: Spiky Gremlin Lvl 2: Budzilla 4x and 25xp every 6 hours (-120 protection)
• Level 45: Upgrade with 12 Bacon and 7 Blackbery Pie to get: Spiky Gremlin Lvl 3: Budzilla 4x and 30xp every 1 hour (-160 protection)

When you start an upgrade, they go back to being EVOLVING GREMLINS. Until you complete the upgrade, they don't produce anything.

MORE MONSTERS THEME NEWS:

GET KRAKEN QUESTS were only available on the weekends, 10/18-21 and 10/25-27. However, they accidentally ended them early on 10/27, so they've added them back on October 28 for an extra day to make up for this problem. Watch the timer to make sure you don't run out of time! THE DEVS HAVE SAID THIS IS THE LAST YOU'LL SEE OF THESE QUESTS! Remember, this entire mini-theme is ending in just a few days.
