Due partly to the upcoming change away from flash and the fact that the game was no longer profitable, the developers sadly decided to end the game. Cash purchases were turned off November 13 and the game was shut down on December 11, 2019. See also their video announcement of shutdown and announcement on their Facebook page. NORTHWEST THEME: Aug 10 - Sept 19, 2012:
The NORTHWEST THEME started Aug 10, 2012 with just a few items (some old trailers from a previous theme) and some "teaser" quests (which expired on Aug 17).
The majority of the Northwest theme expired Sept 19! DETAILS.
The Sasquatch portion and some remaining items expired Sept 24.
The seed for the theme is BC Bud. It's a 7 hour seed. As usual, 1x is available through gifts. 4x and 9x are in the store. 20x comes from Mystery/Jackpot seeds. They also brought back Wookee Weed for this theme.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Driftwood used to be junk! I usually didn't even bother sharing it. Now, it's used for a quest. So, if you get a popup for one, be sure to share with your neighbors!
RAIN WATER for PUFF PUFF: There is a new option to buy puff puff passes under tending that isn't labeled. It requires collecting 100 of something. It's RAIN WATER! Get 100 IN YOUR STASH and trade them for a Puff Pass. Rain Water is a new gift from your neighbors and is used in a few quests.
UPDATES: New stuff and new quests added August 17th, August 22nd, August 23rd, and, most recently, Friday, August 24th.
The 3 new clouds (Small, Thunder and Rainbow) shown below, are Rain Water repeaters. The bonfire is a quest-only item giving 5200 PROTECTION on just 4 spaces. Get these new items only from the new quests.
CHECK OUT the new HYDRO CABIN added August 24th. (You'll need a lot of water to build this one, so save up.)
SEPT 14 UPDATE: So much new stuff and stuff to do. These updates revolve around the new SASQUATCH PUZZLE QUESTS (which run through 9/21). Visit the quest page for complete details and an explanation of how the puzzle pieces work. (Sasquatch is a mystery seed repeater!) Click the image of a picture below for details on it!

UPDATE: Sasquatch now shares Wookee Weed 4X instead of Bones.
