Due partly to the upcoming change away from flash and the fact that the game was no longer profitable, the developers sadly decided to end the game. Cash purchases were turned off November 13 and the game was shut down on December 11, 2019. See also their video announcement of shutdown and announcement on their Facebook page. Soylent Green is a new munchie plant and is found in Mystery Seeds and Jackpot Seeds.
Star Bud is only found from Jackpot Seeds (and a couple repeaters).
Holobud is found from visiting neighbors and from the new theme crates. THERE IS NO USE FOR IT YET. SAVE IT!!!
The confusing PUFFLES, PUFFLE PILES, PUFFLER MACHINE and PUFFLERS:
PUFFLES usually start as MYSTERY PUFFLES. When you place it on your farm, you find out what color it is. (In the Zitzlers quests, it looks like you're getting a mystery puffler, but it's actually a specific color.) All 5 different color PUFFLES are REPEATERS that give you another MYSTERY PUFFLE and a Puffle PILE (and when you collect, you can share a PUFFLE with your neighbors.) Puffle PILES go to your gift box when you collect from your PUFFLES. You'll need to use the Puffle PILES from your gift box to move them to your stash. This way, they can be used by the PUFFLER MACHINE contraption which makes PUFFLERS (cooked puffles).
Interesting note: "Zitzlers" is a Futurama reference (from the episode, "The Problem with Popplers", which was a take off on Star Trek "The Trouble with Tribbles".) When the Planet Express crew lands on a previously undiscovered planet, they find that it abounds in a new and delicious animal life-form which they call "popplers." (Fry chose the name from a list of the two remaining non-trademarked names on Earth; the second was "Zitzlers."
