Due partly to the upcoming change away from flash and the fact that the game was no longer profitable, the developers sadly decided to end the game. Cash purchases were turned off November 13 and the game was shut down on December 11, 2019. See also their video announcement of shutdown and announcement on their Facebook page. VOODOO THEME: February 23 - March ??:
The new seasonal seed is HEAD SHRINKER! Details are on my SEED PAGE. Voodoo pot head crowds are here. (The mardi gras crowds are also still available through this theme.)
There are two chains of quests: one that's mainly pot heads, and the other based on the new seed. There are also a few bonus quests.
Save your Chicken Blood and Voodoo Bones! You'll need them for the Hydro Witch Hut! Buy the new hydro or earn it doing a quest.
There are also a bunch of cool new critters. The PF art department has been putting out some really cool stuff lately!
FEB 29 UPDATE: New quests, new items, and an ULTRA RARE, ULTRA AWESOME Paranoid Zombie Bear, offering a whopping 2,000 PROTECTION on one space. You could also buy him in the store for 99 fb credits or 499 pot bucks at thepotfarmgame.com.
MARCH 7 UPDATE: A few new items for purchase and even more new quests added!
MARCH 9 UPDATE: New bonus quests added today to earn a Voodoo Firebud and a Swamp Boat. These quests are reportedly available to everyone to complete while working on others.
Before you start planting mystery seeds for these quests... check your gift box. You may have earned panama red and/or acapulco gold from mystery crates. (Not exactly sure where they all came from, but I've got a load of each.) Also note, the PUFFY Leprechaun is a repeater that generates Acapulco Gold! He's no longer available, but if you need AG seeds and you've got PUFFY in storage, it's time to drag him out!
